Jinrong Peng (彭锦蓉)
I completed my undergraduate thesis at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). My research interests primarily focus on mass transfer at the water-air interface and sustainable agriculture. During my undergraduate studies, I participated in research projects related to aquatic chemistry. Through the modification of green polymeric materials, I conducted research to enhance microplastic removal efficiency while reducing secondary pollution, exploring sustainable water treatment solutions. Through my undergraduate studies, I gradually discovered that many natural phenomena around me could be explained by classroom knowledge. This connection not only deepened my understanding of the discipline’s significance but also revealed its relevance to daily life. I aspire to translate my learning into tangible, beneficial actions, seeking pathways in scientific research to harness knowledge for the betterment of human society.
